Andy Turner, Yon Dan (4th degree black belt), began the study of Isshinryu Karate in 1986 at Kent State University. He received his Sho Dan (1st degree black belt) in 1994 at the Hudson Isshinryu Club under the instruction of Debbie Pittak-sensei.
